Sober Living Homes for Those in Recovery

A Safe Haven For Sobriety

Our recovery house is the next step in the substance abuse recovery process. We offer lodging needed to provide a safe and supportive transition into a life of sobriety. We help those in recovery learn how to live a life free from drugs and alcohol.

As a non-profit organization, 501c3 Public Charity, we rely on the generous monetary donations from the community to support our cause. All our services are provided by volunteers. If you want to become involved with our organization, contact Jerry (609 694-9316) or Maggie Cipollone (609-668-5238) or Stacey Ross (609) 610-2944.
Our story
About Us
At AFAR, we believe that everyone deserves another chance to live a better happier life. Our non-profit organization, 501c3 Public Charity, rents and manages sober living homes in the Burlington and Mercer County areas of New Jersey. We provide recovering addicts and alcoholics, who have completed a rehabilitation program, a safe place to live to support their addiction recovery.
We are completely a volunteer organization. It is our hope to offer safe and secure houses for men and women with the desire to get back on their feet and return to the real world. We want them to know that there are people that want to help them get better, who really care and are not in it for profit.
All the volunteers, involved with AFAR have experience with substance abuse, whether it afflicted a family member, a friend or themselves. After meeting others through Nar-Anon and other support groups, we decided it was time to give back with compassion and without judgement. The cost of living in a recovery house can be too expensive for some. AFAR wanted to provide all with the opportunity to succeed regardless of financial means.
